Yesterday the 25th August 2011 the Al Ahli Horse Riding Club in Dubai suffered a fire. Due to the quick and fearless actions of the staff, no horses were seriously injured. One horse suffered minor burns and will make a full recovery in a matter of weeks.
All Staff made it out of the fire also un injured. We thank them for their bravery.
The staff were alerted to the fire by a member of the public, shortly after a groom also noticed smoke as he woke to a strange smell.
The fire service was called and attended the club in a very short time and quickly had the blaze under control, but not before we had lost all our equipment, saddles, bridals and a whole barn of 14 stables. We thank the Dubai Fire service for their actions and bravery.

We have 14 horses without shade in the summer heat, please please donate something to assist us. Even the smallest donation will help us get back on our feet.
Please help us rebuild our beloved club and keep our horses safe and well.
The cost of replacing the Barn Roof will be 70.000 AED, the repair for the smoke damage will cost 35.000 AED any donations towards the barn repairs, no matter how small will be mentioned on a plaque that will be put outside the barn doors. You can donate as little as 35 AED, if you wish to donate more please increase the quantity in your shopping cart, we need as much help as possible
This barn houses 14 horses. This is 5000 AED per box. If you donate to replace a box or part of a box we will put the donators name on the outside of the box as a thank you. Click a link below to donate towards the stable roofing.
The equipmet will cost approx 4500 per horse, we have 45 Horses. Donations of equipment from other stables is welcomed, we are in desperate need of girths, stirrup leathers, stirrup irons, lead ropes, halters and saddles.
